PhysiPod’s Component Orthotic revolutionises custom fitting, by allowing you to tailor an Orthotic on the spot using the various components included in the kit, quickly and easily.

Using the self adhesive components, clinicians can add and modify the Component Orthotic from the top and bottom to control and redistribute pressure areas to the foot.

The self adhesive top cover then allows for an easy finish to complete the Orthotic.

No need for making pads, grinding or messy glue.

Your clinical imagination and a pair of scissors are all you need!

  • Tri laminate Heel Raise

    $11.00 Including GST
The PhysiPod Tr-Laminated heel raise is designed to offer up to a 10mm raise on the affected side. It is made of 3 laminated sheets of premium EVA, with a soft Chamois top cover, (anti-bacterial and anti-fungal treatments applied). The Tri-Laminated Heel Raise allows for the sheets of EVA to be peeled away to the desired raise height, or conversely, added back in as needed. The Heel Raise is ideal for:
    1. To increase height in - Functional shortening - Gastroc / Soleal Equinus - Temporary elevation, eg. for Achilles Tendinopathy
    2. To gradually reduce height back to neutral after Tendo-Achilles problems.
Having the ability to use the three levels allows practitioners to phase in/phase out the heel raise by adding back, or removing, when required. Directions: Measure the shortening on the affected side and simply peel back the adhesive tab and insert the desired amount of raise into the heel of the shoe. Push firmly into sole of the shoe to secure the raise in place. If phasing in your heel raise, the removed EVA can be applied back as required. Extra 3M tape is included in the pack for use with re-laminating if needed
  • Trimthotic

    $55.00 Including GST
The PhysiPod Trimthotic has been designed by our Podiatrist for the slimmer shoe, both men's and women's. The Trimthotic helps  to provide correction, stability and support to the foot. The Trimthotic is used for a variety of foot complaints such as : Over-pronation, (flat feet ); Plantar Fasciitis ; Heel Spurs ; Tendinitis/Tendinopathy; Morton's Neuroma; and painful forefoot.  The Trimthotic is a medical grade orthotic designed to fit into most types of slim or narrow footwear. This includes - women's fashion shoes, such as pumps, court shoes, sandals, ballet flats, mary-janes and boots, with anything from a low to medium height heel. It also includes men's business shoes; Runner's Spikes; narrow fitting children's shoes. The Trimthotic is made of a premium thermoplastic with a leather top cover. For women, wearing high heels forces your body weight to shift to the front of the foot and this can contribute to the arch collapsing. This overload causes excessive pressure under the forefoot and can lead to complaints like forefoot burning and pain, callous formation, tired and aching legs, arch and heel pain and postural changes. The Trimthotic supports the arch and forefoot and redistributes body weight evenly over the foot, which alleviates the excessive forces caused by fashion footwear.   Wearing: To begin with, gently phase in your orthotic by wearing it initially for 2-3 hours on the first day and increase the use daily, as you adjust to the correction. Then wear it comfortably all day, as needed.
